The OctapuzZ Apex Team recently competed in an Apex Legends tournament called the Spring Circuit, hosted by Indy Gaming League (IGL).

Twenty-Three teams took part in the six-week series, where they battled it out for the most points. These points were awarded through high placement and kills in normal queue matches. The points system was as follows:

  • 1st Place = 10 points
  • 2nd/3rd place = 5 points
  • 4th/5th Place = 3 points
  • 1 Kill = 1 point

Every week, nine games were played, and each team’s highest scoring matches were counted towards their overall points. With sixteen 1st place victories, one 2nd place finish and 420 kills, Clock and the squad finished in the Top Eight with 585 points (2nd Place overall).

This triumph then allowed them to compete in the two-hour playoffs to win the series. After two intense hours of grinding, the OctapuzZ Apex Team completed the Championship in 2nd Place with 222 pointsonly 12 points away from being the victors!

Their incredibly high placement won all five players in the roster a membership on the IGL website. A very well done to our amazing players and a great display of their skill and teamwork! The future only holds more victories for us!
